Ads fail for small businesses in a boring way. The account spends money, the report shows clicks, and the phone does not ring with the right people. Google Ads management and Meta ads are useful when the offer, the landing page, and the follow-up are decided before the budget goes live.
Start with the enquiry, not the audience trick
Write the person you want and the action they should take. A call, a form, a booking, or a purchase. If that action is hard on the website, ads will only make the problem more expensive. Fix the page first, or build it as the first milestone and turn ads on as the second.
Google Ads fits people who are already searching: a service in a city, a product with a name, a problem with words. Meta ads, including Facebook and Instagram, fit a story and a picture shown to people who were not searching yet. Many businesses need one of those, not both, in month one.
What the first month should include
A clean ad account in the business’s name. Conversion tracking that records the real action, not every page view. A small set of campaigns with a daily limit you can afford to learn from. Ads and landing pages that say the same thing. A weekly look at which searches or which creatives produced enquiries, and which only produced clicks.
What it should not include is a promise of a fixed number of customers. Anyone who guarantees that before seeing the offer and the market is guessing with your money.
How the studio handles it
Uplaps can set up the account, the tracking, and the first campaigns, then watch them. The ad spend is paid to Google or Meta, not to us. Our fee is a milestone for the setup, and a later one if you want ongoing management. No advance on our fee. You approve the setup when tracking fires and the campaigns match the written scope.
If you are not sure which platform fits, say what you sell and where the customers are. Google and Meta ads is the service page. Start a project is enough to begin the questions.
